We are not helpless bystanders; we are not victims of our own frailty. In fact, the most widely shared human ambition—to leave the world better than we found it—might actually be within our reach. Joseph Robertson, Global Strategy Director for Citizens’ Climate Lobby, will discuss how our knowledge empowers us to act in harmony with nature’s life support systems, build an ecological economy and prosper, while averting unnecessary climate impacts. He will describe how an organized team of thousands of citizen volunteers is working on four continents to engage democracy and make change deliberately, so we can solve humanity’s greatest challenge.
